2nd Annual Positive Peer Pressure (P3), CAN Underage Drinking Campaign
2nd Annual Positive Peer Pressure (P3)
“CAN” Underage Drinking Campaign
April is Alcohol Awareness Month- a nationwide campaign intended to raise awareness of the health and social problems that alcohol consumption can cause for individuals, their families and their communities.
Throughout the month of April, P3 Clubs across Roane County will be competing to collect the most canned food items to donate to area food pantries. Please help these students spread the message about the dangers of underage drinking and give back to their community.
(Positive Peer Pressure is a student leadership club in 5 middle schools and all 3 high schools in Roane County. The club started to give students a venue to assist their school and community in bringing awareness regarding the dangers of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs. The P3 clubs are supported by the Roane County Anti-Drug Coalition (www.roaneantidrug.org) and the East Tennessee Foundation.)
The P3 club collecting the most cans will win a pizza party; receive community service hours and the joy of helping those in need.
If you have questions please contact Kris Hontz, Roane County Anti-Drug Coalition Program Coordinator via email firstname.lastname@example.org or via phone 865-224-0342.
