Josh Goodling Speaks at Rockwood Middle School
You may not like the weather today, but to Josh Goodling it’s a good day to be kind. Josh has an inspiring story that he has shared thousands of times. That may not be too impressive to you, but it’s pretty impressive considering his vocal cords are paralyzed. At the age of four years old a Doctor told Josh’s parents that Josh had 1 week to live, and he’s been living with purpose ever since!
Josh shares his story about being bullied, and being made fun of. Then he tells the students about the choice that he made. He could feel sorry for himself, or he could spread kindness and make a difference in the world! He certainly made the right choice. Josh has received countless letters from students thanking him for making a difference in their life. One student from Cherokee told us “Josh made me think about what I say to others, and we shouldn’t be saying anything negative about anybody.”
That’s exactly why Josh is so passionate about what he does. You can always hear Josh say “one person at a time.”, and that’s what it will take to make a difference in this world. If you would like to schedule Josh to speak send Nathan an email at firstname.lastname@example.org, aand he will put you in contact with Josh.
